Joupiska slope rules - the basis for safe skiing
Slope rules are a shared set of guidelines for all skiers, ensuring safe and smooth skiing on the slopes, in the lifts, and in their surroundings. By following these rules, unnecessary accidents can be avoided and everyone can enjoy their time on the slopes with plenty of space for the sport.
On the slopes you’ll find skiers of all ages and skill levels: beginners, children, progressed, and professionals. Following the rules is everyone’s responsibility – it shows respect for others and is the best way to ensure both your own safety and the enjoyment of everyone throughout the skiing day.
Short:
- Safety first: Rules keep you and others safe.
- Teamwork: One rule violation can jeopardize many skiers.
- Fair play: By following the rules, you help maintain a good atmosphere on the slopes.
Remember – slope rules don't restrict fun, they make it possible for everyone!
